tHE LIGHTER IS AT THE CENTER OF MOST SMOKING SESSIONS, AND SMOKING BUTANE IS POTENTIALLY HARMFUL. mY OBJECTIVE WAS TO CREATE AN ACCESSORY FOR THE LIGHTER THAT INCLUDES CLEAN BURNING HEMP WICK AND SOME ADDED FUNCTIONS FOR THE EVERYDAY SMOKER.

tHE lIGHTERcaSE IS A MULTIPURPOSE LIGHTER HOLDER THAT KEEPS YOUR LIGHTER, HEMP WICK, AND POKING TOOL TOGETHER IN ONE PLACE. IT FEATURES a HEMP WICK SPOOL SYSTEM that INCLUDES A BUILT-IN FLAME SNUFFER FOR THE SAFEST AND EASIEST BUTANE-FREE SMOKING EXPERIENCE; and A RETRACTABLE METAL TOOL FOR CLEANING or packing.

The objective of the LighterCase project was to create an innovative accessory around the traditional lighter that is clean, modern, affordable, and promotes healthy use. In the cannabis community, there is a large base that is against using the flame from a lighter to light their product, since the lighter flame contains butane that can be potentially harmful to the user. The team wanted a product that supported the use of alternative lighting methods and also added had some added functions that would elevate the smoking experience for the everyday consumer. Most importantly, keep production time and cost down so that we could bring it to market very quickly.
